Callan Glean

Callan holds a BA(Hons) and brings extensive expertise in alternative and specialist education settings, having dedicated his career to supporting young people with complex needs.

As Head of Safeguarding, Behaviour & Inclusion for the Greater Manchester region with Apex Specialist Education, Callan leads the development and implementation of high-quality inclusive practice across all centres. He ensures safeguarding standards are rigorous, behaviour systems are relational and restorative, and inclusion is embedded within every classroom and support intervention.

Driven by the belief that every young person deserves the right to feel safe, understood and valued, Callan works closely with staff, learners and partner agencies to remove barriers, build trust, and enable pupils to thrive and succeed.
