The Apex Way is the foundation of our whole-school ethos. It shapes how we teach, how we lead, how we support pupils and how we work together across our learning centres. Through therapeutic approaches, structured support and strong relational practice, we help pupils develop emotionally, socially and academically. Flourishing is not only about achievement, it is about growth, resilience and self-belief.

Success is defined by progress, achievement and readiness for the future.
We celebrate every step forward; whether improved attendance, engagement in learning, qualifications gained or positive personal development. Our aim is that every pupil leaves Healey Learning Centre with the skills, confidence and resilience to move forward in education, employment or training.
