Whole-School Performance Monitoring

Healey Learning Centre is a single registered school operating across multiple learning centres.
Performance is monitored, evaluated and reported at whole-school level, ensuring consistent standards of education, safeguarding and pupil outcomes across all locations.

Educational progress, attendance, behaviour, wellbeing and personal development are tracked through a central monitoring framework led by senior leadership. This enables leaders to identify strengths, respond to emerging needs and ensure continuous improvement across the provision.


Ofsted Judgement

Healey Learning Centre was inspected by Ofsted April 2025 and was judged:

Good overall, with Outstanding Personal Development.

This judgement reflects the strength of the school’s culture, curriculum, safeguarding arrangements and the impact of The Apex Way in supporting pupils to re-engage, develop confidence and achieve positive outcomes.

The Ofsted judgement applies to the school as a whole.nues to develop and improve as one integrated school across all learning centres.


Quality Assurance Across Learning Centres

To ensure consistent standards across all learning centres, the school operates a structured programme of quality assurance including:

  • Cross-site monitoring of teaching and learning

  • Curriculum implementation reviews

  • Safeguarding and pastoral audits

  • Attendance and behaviour monitoring

  • Work scrutiny and moderation

  • Leadership review meetings

  • Whole-school improvement planning

Senior leaders maintain regular presence across learning centres to monitor practice and support improvement.

This ensures that all pupils experience the same high standards of education and care regardless of location.


Current Performance Data

Healey Learning Centre opened in September 2024.

As a newly established independent special school, historic examination and attainment data is not yet available. Formal academic outcome data will be published as cohorts complete qualifications.

While full historic data is not yet available, the school tracks a wide range of pupil progress indicators including:
