Our Commitment to Safeguarding

The safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority.

Healey Learning Centre is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils across all learning centres. We operate robust safeguarding arrangements designed to protect children from harm, support their wellbeing and ensure that concerns are identified and responded to promptly and appropriately.

Our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy sets out the procedures and responsibilities that guide safeguarding practice across the whole school.


About This Policy

This policy applies to:

It outlines how we:

Safeguarding arrangements operate consistently across Rochdale, Stockport and Altrincham as part of one whole-school safeguarding framework.


Statutory Guidance

This policy is written in accordance with current statutory safeguarding guidance, including:

  • Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)

  • Working Together to Safeguard Children

  • Local safeguarding partnership procedures

The school reviews safeguarding arrangements regularly to ensure continued compliance and effectiveness.
